Assistant Professor - Remote Sensing
The Department of Environmental Resources Engineering (ERE) at the State University of New York (SUNY) College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) in Syracuse, NY invites applications for an academic-year (10 month) tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor with research and teaching interests in remote sensing. Priority will be given to candidates concentrating on polar, atmospheric and/or oceanic remote sensing, however candidates with interests in terrestrial remote sensing (e.g. land cover monitoring) will also be considered. Of particular interest are applicants who use novel remote sensing approaches to study environmental process and function. For optimal consideration applications should be submitted by August 15, 2025.
